Pediatric physical therapy is a specialized type of healthcare that focuses on helping children improve their movement, strength, coordination, and overall physical development. It addresses a wide range of conditions and challenges, from developmental delays to sports injuries.

There are many reasons why a child might need physical therapy. Some common reasons include developmental delays, motor skill difficulties, balance problems, coordination challenges, recovery from injuries, or specific medical conditions.

If you have concerns about your child's physical development, it's always best to consult with your pediatrician or a qualified physical therapist. They can assess your child's needs and recommend the best course of action.

Hear from Happy Families

“I met Ms. Martine in 2018. For about three years she provided service to my daughter. She was very pleasant, gentle and caring with both of us and very knowledgeable. She was the best. I am proud to say, I would recommend her to anyone.”

- N.B.

Our family, like many others was unprepared for the additional support our growing daughter needed. She was a late walker; Martine came in without hesitation with a plan to help her feel confident and get on the right track to running, jumping and hitting all her motor milestones. Martine was professional, patient, kind and knowledgeable in her interactions with both our daughter and with us! We had so many questions/concerns and she provided us with clear insight to what we could expect, what we could do and how our daughter was progressing throughout the sessions.

Now our little girl is in the 4th grade and she is a confident explorer on the playground, in school or anywhere there is a place to play. Thank you Martine!

I am very greatful to Martine who served as both of my children's physical therapist starting from a young age. Both of my children were very weak and needed to develop proper torso and all over strength - Martine was instrumental in each child's physical development and muscle building. I am happy to say both kids are meeting their milestones and leading active lives.
